About Wickham Festival
Wickham Festival is a 4-day music & arts festival held every August in a stunningly beautiful rural location near the historic village of Wickham in Hampshire. With live music on four stages plus a host of other entertainment, Wickham is rated by many as one of the safest, most relaxed and family-friendly festivals in the UK. We were voted Best UK Festival, capacity under 15000 at the Live UK Music Business Awards in October 2015. This January we won the Best Festival category in the local Culture Guide Awards. Each year we introduce new ideas and keep what works, so please get involved on our social channels to send us feedback ... good or bad. We already have some great plans for 2020 and can't wait to put this into action. What happened in 2023?
Let’s be frank, our opening night was on the same day as a storm to acquire a Met Office name … thank you Storm Antoni! This made things challenging and muddy but fortunately all our stages are undercover, so once inside it was business as usual. And wow, did we have some great music! The festival was headlined by The Saw Doctors, Midge Ure, Mary Black & Fisherman’s Friends. This was a Wickham debut for both Midge and Mary. Midge played all the olds classics and Mary proved her voice has lost none of its power and purity. Other notable acts included Toyah & Robert Fripp, Wickham favourites The South, and 60s legends The Zombies. As ever it was an incredible weekend of music and we can’t wait for 2024 to unfold!Latest News

We’re somewhat overwhelmed by the videos that get posted on YouTube after our events. They capture some wonderful memories and we can’t thank you enough for your creations. We’re not quite sure how we’ve managed to establish a regular audience with such a friendly outlook. We salute everyone that has visited us in the 18 years since we began. But who knew Wickham Festival was a hotbed for talented movie making? Here are some of our favourite videos.
